Following my curiosity and creative interest, I did a hobby course in May 2021 at an independent Jewellery school in Strathalbyn (Academy of Jewellery Manufacture and Design). I was amazed, inspired and fell in love quickly. The first sterling silver barrel ring I made, followed by some silver gum leaf earrings excited me and felt soul good to create.
From that moment I have continued to show up at the bench and say yes to the opportunity of learning, studying and creating jewellery. I have taken a wholehearted deep dive into the art and trade of Jewellery making.
The process of jewellery making and learning has been very healing. I am incredibly grateful to have found an environment where I can learn slowly and at a pace that nurtures my creative process.
Returning to the creative and intuitive aspects of myself has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience. I feel in a way, jewellery making found me and has been an essential part of my self -discovery.
With the invaluable support and mentoring of my teacher Master Silver and Goldsmith Jacques Fabian and his wife Heidi (and their dogs Poppy and Mia) I’m eager and excited to continue to journey along the path of developing the art and expression of my creativity in this way as a Jeweller.
It is an honour to work with and bestow a piece of jewellery to someone. I am drawn to create one-of-a-kind pieces and customised adornments that have and hold deep meaning and symbology to the wearer. I want to create pieces that are a gift of beauty, grace and simple elegance.
There is so much to learn and practice. As a student at heart I am looking forward to the transition into working on commissions, selling pieces and the dance between these spaces.

About Atiye Jewellery
Atiye Jewellery was born from a place of respect for the sacred mystery of life and a deep bow to the energies and processes of alchemy and transformation.
Upholding an intention to be kind and respectful to the Earth in the process of making, pieces are handmade mindfully and slowly. It is a humbling experience to use the Earth’s precious resources in the art and practice of traditional and contemporary Jewellery making. And, it is a wish that this intention enable pieces to be imbued with soulful and poetic energies.
Atiye Jewellery is mostly inspired by nature, geometric patterns, flora, mandalas, ethnic jewellery and lace. There is a desire that the essences of grace, beauty, balance and harmony that these things so often reflect to us can be felt in the Jewellery I am making.
The imperfect perfection that nature expresses is a reminder to be kind and forgiving in the processes of creation, and in the translation and journey of completing a piece from start, middle, end and all the in between moments.
Pieces both silver and gold, using precious stones and gems, are created with and for you to support intention, connection and essence.
Atiye, a Turkish name meaning The Gift, informs the foundation of this journey.
Welcome, and thank you for your interest and/or purchase of a piece of Atiye Jewellery. I would love to hear from you if you’d like to work together to create something meaningful.
